Rates

The cost for AMP is $55-$60 per volunteer each day. This includes lodging, most of your meals, and most of your supplies. The range fluctuates as it is subject to hotel and material costs.

What does your day look like?

We typically start our weeks with groups arriving on Sundays. You will have rooms reserved at a local hotel where check-in begins at 3:00pm. A member of the Mission: St. Louis staff will meet you at the hotel to prepare you for the week.

Each weekday will be scheduled from 8:00am-5:00pm. You will arrive at the Mission: St. Louis office at 8:00am to learn about Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) principles and plan for the day. As your group may not be the only group scheduled for AMP programs in a given week, all groups participating in AMP programs for the week will gather together for this teaching time. Following the teaching time, AMPkids visiting camp counselors and AMPhomes volunteers will separate to join their prospective program leaders. At 4:00pm, you will meet together with the entire group to wrap up and conclude the work day in prayer. Some nights will be free; however, Mission: St. Louis has put together some programming and suggested group activities and devotions for the evening hours. If your group signs up for a full week, your group wil have one afternoon free to explore St. Louis.
