AMPhomes

logo AMPhomes

Our AMPhomes track enables volunteers to work with skilled leaders in making minor home repairs in impoverished communities. This may include painting, gardening, building fences, and replacing appliances. You will spend time building a relationship with the homeowner and likely learn a new skill.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects assisting homeowners who have requested assistance with labor-intensive projects. AMPhomes continues all year long through our Community Loop program, which provides free home repairs for homeowners who are unable to afford necessary upkeep. In the first eight months of 2011, more than 300 repairs for 70 families were completed by volunteers. You will spend time building a relationship with the homeowner and likely learn a new skill.
