“A community will not remain healthy if it is not economically viable.”
- Bob Lupton
Transformation and reconciliation cannot occur without long-term economic development. To create healthy, economically viable neighborhoods, we must identify and understand the economic structures of the community. Community does not only consist of the people, but it encompasses the businesses, corporations, and housing in the community’s geographic area. Programs do not fix neighborhoods, but the people do through becoming self-sufficient and economically independent. Only by working alongside the people who have been there and who are there can economic transformation take place.
Community Loop Work Days - Labor intensive projects for homeowners who require assistance with home maintenance.
Economic Well-Being – Enabling and equipping individuals and families to become self-sufficient through job training, employment matching opportunities, and business start ups.
