Hamilton Heights

The Hamilton Heights neighborhood is located near West End, Wellston, and Wells-Goodfellow. We spend most of our time in the area surrounding Ford Elementary School between Page Blvd and MLK Dr, east of Goodfellow Blvd, and west of Montclair Ave.

The student population at Ford is a combination of children from the neighborhood and children who ride buses to Ford from other ares in St. Louis City. Mission: St. Louis volunteers spend time getting to know the school administrators and residents of the community, and learning about the churches and organizations that already have a presence there. There are several ways volunteers can get involved this spring, including Basketball Open Gym, Morning Reading, and Cross the Street. Visit the Education and Empowerment pages for more information.
