Josh feels called to help eradicate poverty in the city of St. Louis.

M:STL is incorporated as a nonprofit

MAY 2007

Mission: St. Louis can now receive tax deductible donations to help carry out their mission.

Josh Wilson becomes 1st employee

JULY 2007

Instead of just volunteering, Josh can now get paid for his work.

M:STL receives Federal 501(c)(3) status

1st NFTT Gala at Soulard Preservation Hall

Even with a few mishaps and some last minute planning, over 100 people came out and raised $22,000. The night was very memorable and is still talked about today.

After outgrowing the convent, Mission: St. Louis gets their own office at 4366 Manchester Ave, in a small 2 bedroom upstairs apartment.

AMP starts

MAY 2012

Home repairs were badly needed in our neighborhood, we banded together volunteers and got to work helping our neighbors live more comfortably in their homes.

After school program starts

AUGUST 2012

We gathered kids from across the neighborhood and came together for some fun, starting with sports, snacks and other activites, with a little focus on academics.

Merger with Senior Ministry Network

JANUARY 2014

We joined forces and expanded our senior service programming, also gaining the federal VISTA umbrella grant.
