11 years ago, Founder Josh Wilson had a beautiful vision to impact poverty in our city. One year later – in May 2007 – vision became a reality as Mission: St. Louis officially incorporated as a nonprofit.
Over these 10 years we have realized the importance of listening over telling and have learned how to act with more than just good intentions. Our journey has been one of many steps forward, a couple steps back and lots of conversations. In 2017, just after our move from Forest Park Southeast to Jeff Van der Lou, we celebrate our 10th year of relationship building, empowerment and community.

Thank you to all who donated! We are so humbled to be surrounded by people who believe in us and with us as we empower people to transform their neighborhoods.
This year our Give STL Day campaign was centered around increasing the mental health aspect of what we do within Beyond Jobs. With our new building, we now have the capacity to add trauma informed care including counseling, addiction services, legal aid and group therapy.

2 out of 3 incarcerated people and family members report experiencing detrimental mental health effects such as depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Giving to Give STL Day will dramatically influence our guys' lives and the lives of their families. Ultimately, we want these services to lead to sustained employment, thus breaking the cycle of poverty.
Three years ago you helped us win an additional $5,000 because we had the most unique donors in 24 hours.
Our new office is located at 3108 N. Grand • St. Louis, MO 63107. Parking is available on N. Grand in front of the building, or on Sullivan Ave to the south side of the building.
