Ten Years of Mission: St. Louis:

A celebration of our past, present and future

11 years ago, Founder Josh Wilson had a beautiful vision to impact poverty in our city. One year later – in May 2007 – vision became a reality as Mission: St. Louis officially incorporated as a nonprofit.

Over these 10 years we have realized the importance of listening over telling and have learned how to act with more than just good intentions. Our journey has been one of many steps forward, a couple steps back and lots of conversations. In 2017, just after our move from Forest Park Southeast to Jeff Vander Lou, we are celebrating our 10th year of relationship building, empowerment and community.

To commemorate our last ten years, the next year will be a time of reflection, of celebration, of learning and a time to look towards our shared future.

Check back here every month to see new stories about our organization, our programs and our city.
