Community Loop seeks to enable homeowners to remain in their homes and to ensure safe and healthy living environments for community members. The aging housing stock in much of St. Louis makes repair and maintenance vital to the survival of owner-occupied homes. Many homeowners are unable to afford the necessary upkeep and are often cited by the city to either fix the issue or evacuate the premises. The Community Loop program provides free home repair assistance for labor-intensive projects.
