Peabody Elementary

In the summer of 2010, an opportunity came to partner with a local church, August Gate, by opening our third Morning Reading location at Peabody Elementary. Emily Whitworth, Director of Education, and Todd Genteman, Volunteer Coordinator and pastor at August Gate, started meeting with Peabody's principal, Ms. Spann, to lay out what serving would look like. We hosted a school supply drive that fall and started Morning Reading in January 2011. Peabody is our first school to host three days of Morning Reading per week.
