Healthy Home Repair Program

Home repair assistance for low to moderate income households.

The City wants you to have a safe place to live + enjoy peace of mind about your home.  Mission: St.Louis (M:STL) administers the construction project management of the Healthy Home Repair Program (HHRP) in the City.

M:STL does not provide intake for the HHRP.  Please call the Healthy Home Repair program Hotline number at (314)657-3888 to find out if you are eligible for home repair assistance, there are some requirements + restrictions which will be explained during the intake process. The Healthy Home Repair Program is for homeowners who live in the City of St. Louis; have owned + lived in their home for at least 2 years; have clear title; are current on their real estate taxes; are current on their mortgage payments + have homeowner's insurance.  Because federal dollars are used to fund the program, eligibility is limited to low + moderate income households (less than 80% of Area Median Income).”


This program has income limits for the city of St. Louis residents.  Below are the income limits:

Family Size 2: $40,900
Family Size 3: $46,000
Family Size 4: $51,100
Family Size 5: $55,200
Family Size 6: $59,300
Family Size 7: $63,400
Family Size 8: $67,500
Family Size 9: $71,500


The Healthy Home Repair Program is financed wholly through an allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of St. Louis’ Community Development Administration.
