Cassie has her Associates degree in accounting from Hickey School, a B.S. in business administration and M.S. in accounting from Fontbonne University. She is a perservant runner who has become co-ambassador of Black Girls Run! St. Louis. She is dedicated (or crazy enough) to have completed a 10k on a cane.
Dovile has a Business Administration Degree in Finance from Westminster College and is currently pursuing an MBA in Accounting from Columbia College. Originally Dovile is from Lithuania and loves to travel, explore new cultures and trying new foods. She is very excited to move to St. Louis where she has many friends and is looking forward to spending time with them.
Merellyn has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphasis on HR Management. Merellyn is a returning M:STL employee who is excited about being back home. She looks forward to continuing to encourage people to strive to be the best they can be, no matter the challenge.
Jerry is a proud graduate of the Winter 2018 JLT class. After interning here at M:STL, he was hired shortly thereafter. He hopes to pursue an education in electrical engineering. He looks forward to "paying it forward" by helping others change their lives as this organization has done for him.
SJ (Shamara) received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from UMSL and her master’s degree in justice administration from Lindenwood University. She enjoys DIY home projects, cooking and being a “mom-a-ger” to her son and her son’s basketball, football and wrestling teams.
Evelio is a native of St. Louis. Since he was 12, he's always heard the mantra, 'Men for Others'. He feels as if Mission St. Louis gives him the opportunity to fully embrace that, and is excited to hopefully be an agent of change, and be a positive influence on the city. He is an avid sports fan, and an aficionado of film and tv.
Dawn graduated Fontbonne University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and has a Master’s Degree in Sociology from UMSL. She looks forward to having fun with her new co-workers at Mission: St. Louis and working hard to transform the St. Louis community. In her free time she enjoys exercising and going to the movies.
Through many years of service Ryan has learned a lot through loss, worked in many places and has accomplished much. He loves to serve others and see that people have the opportunity to better themselves. He tells others that if they want to achieve, they have to believe.
Ira Taylor is a graduate from the Job and Leadership Training Program with Mission: St. Louis where he enjoyed his position working in carpentry. He went to Everest College to become a Dental Assistant and enjoys playing video games with his son on the weekends.

Rebekah is a native St. Louisian with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts from Hannibal LaGrange University. She enjoys traveling and the outdoors, but knows there is nothing better than cuddling with her fur-baby, Suki, while binge watching Netflix and eating take out Chinese food.
Lesley has a Bachelor's of Elementary Education from SIU-Carbondale and a Master's of Education from Union University. Lesley is a former teacher from Chicago by way of Memphis. She’s a mother of four, and loves traveling. She’s looking forward to being a Success Coach!

Danielle is a recent graduate of Western Kentucky University where she studied Chemistry. At Beyond School, she wants to use her background to encourage students to have a positive attitude towards education and life. Following, she hopes to be a Peace Corp volunteer to reach more children and communities. Outside of serving others, Danielle loves to make music and perform.
Peter graduated from Drury University with a Bachelor of Science, English and his TESOL/ ESL/ TEFL Certification. Peter recently taught ESL in Costa Rica and has returned to the United States to further his career in education while being closer to his friends and family. He is excited to serve and teach in St. Louis which, he will always consider home.
Marquise has a Bachelor’s in English Literature + Cultural Studies from Kalamazoo College and a Master’s in Educational Leadership + Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Marquise loves comics, mythology + oral storytelling traditions. He plans to pursue a PhD in English with the intent of exploring how storytelling cultures of marginalized communities can be utilized for empowering underserved students. He also enjoys hiking, rock climbing, parkour + weightlifting.
Kekua graduated from Missouri Baptist University here in St. Louis, MO. She majored in Mathematics and Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Secondary Education and hopes to engage in the urban school districts. Her favorite things include hanging out with friends, swinging in her hammock, playing card games, and having big adventures.
Morgan has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Morgan is taking this year to apply to schools for her PhD and eventually wants to teach full time at a University. She enjoys being active in church, hiking, board games and learning.
Jaylynn is currently transferring to Central Christian College of the Bible and is studying Cross Cultural Ministry. She enjoys every outdoor activity including swimming and biking. She also enjoys dancing and hanging out with her friends and family.

DeAndre, is a military veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps. He is a Senior at Harris Stowe State University. He lives in Saint Louis MO and enjoys working at Mission St. Louis, Saint Louis College Prep school as a Student Success Coach for the interpersonal skill building opportunity and meeting new people. He loves to swim and go horseback riding in the summer.
Tori is currently attending Harris-Stowe + is majoring in Criminal Justice. Tori is currently a junior at Harris-Stowe State University. She enjoys playing sports + hanging out with friends. Her favorite things include: Jesus, Basketball, This is Us + buying shoes all the time.
Kenya is a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration. She plans on using her upbringing and love for Jesus to provide hope and change to urban communities. In her free time, Kenya enjoys singing, dancing and free-style rapping.
Megan is a first year student at Saint Louis University currently studying Public Health with an emphasis in public policy. Outside of serving, her favorite things include exploring St. Louis with her friends, listening to and making music, and hiking with her dog.
Lucas graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Atmospheric Science. He hopes be an adventure photographer and provide creative content for nonprofits. He was a collegiate pitcher, enjoys ALL outdoor activities and spends his weekends photographing triathlons, mud-runs and marathons all over the country.
Nikki graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s in Communication and English. She loves mornings with coffee, being a part of the Journey Tower Grove, listening to good stories, and is passionate about the cheese puffs at Russell’s on Macklind.
Jasmine has a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University. She has TWO sets of twin sisters and wants to pursue a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning or Planning Law (policy) or both because she’s Superwoman! Her hopes are to gather experience and knowledge over the next year that guide her further in her professional mission.
Danielle graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor’s in History and Psychology and a Master’s in Political Science. After 8 years of teaching high school social studies, Danielle is eager to learn about and be a part of Mission: St. Louis. You can find Danielle partaking in the different cultural and community events around St. Louis or anywhere outside-from a patio to hiking a trail.
Todd came to St. Louis 20 years ago from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. Upon arriving in the Lou, he entered the skilled trades as a carpenter apprentice building custom homes. A few years after obtaining his journey level status, Todd started his own general contracting business specializing in home remodeling and repair. In his spare time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, watching a ball game, and coaching his son’s baseball and soccer teams.
Teresita has a B.A. in Biology from Drake University. She enjoys gardening, traveling and learning Spanish. She hopes to travel to Spain or Latin America and fully submerge herself in the culture. She is also a national wellness consultant that specializes in traditional remedies and reiki.
Carmesha graduated from Florida A&M University with a major in Psychology and a minor in African American Studies. She has lived abroad in Accra, Ghana and enjoys doing yoga, traveling and trying new foods. Carmesha is currently applying for a dual degree; MPH/MSW in the fall of 2019.
Jacob has a degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Law Enforcement from Missouri Southern State University. He has lived in South Korea for over a year, used to be a zip-line guide and has climbed the highest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park.
