To our family & neighbors,

Amid the ever-changing landscape, we are incredibly excited to celebrate the success of Mission: St. Louis in 2021. We were recognized with awards from AmFund, DeSales Community Development, and Buckingham Strategic Wealth. We have successfully expanded our core programs in a multitude of ways. Beyond Jobs has continued utilizing the EACH1 model with a focus on employer relationships and collaborating with our in-house community partners. In 2022 we expect further expansion as we open Places for People’s satellite office in our building. Beyond School doubled its capacity by transitioning from 2 to 4 partner schools in August, continuing to exponentially improve the academic and social-emotional growth of our students. Finally, our Home Repair program was awarded a $1M HUD grant through the Older Adults Home Modification Program and has also doubled capacity. While sometimes it is difficult to comprehend the conditions our seniors are living in, it is gratifying to know that our team is implementing safety precautions and needed repairs so that our neighbors can remain in their homes. As we reflect on the progress we made in 2021, we are also humbly aware of the ongoing challenges that are facing the St. Louis community. It is with this in mind that we move forward in 2022. I invite you to look through this impact report to see the progress we made in 2021.
