Why Employment?

Employment provides us with more than just an income.

Employment gives us purpose. It helps us grow + care for the people that depend on us. When a person is employed, they are less likely to commit crime, less likely to be in poverty + more likely to be healthy.  Job + Leadership Training allows students access to completing a professional resume, connect with potential employers, have an internship experience, learn about financial practices, learn about anger management + learn about being a better father + person.  Increased employment equates to students having a better opportunity to provide stable housing for themselves + their families as well as have opportunities for gainful employment as well as promotions at work.  By providing these opportunities, students are less likely to receive new felonies or warrants + are able to earn livable wages which creates a happier family life + safer neighborhoods.

Employment lowers crime + recidivism. Our city becomes a safer place for families to live.

As people are employed + educated, businesses have solid workforces + families have disposable income.

When families have resources to work, kids grow up with bigger hopes + dreams for their futures.

Having greater income + access to preventative care helps people live more active + complete lives.
