Affordable Christmas FAQ
Most Asked Shopper Questions
Shopping
SO I’ll BE SHOPPING, HOW DOES THAT WORK?
You will have a personal shopper to help you navigate this process! All toys will be price marked at $1, $2, $3 or $4. All winterwear items are free.
Guideline 1: You may shop for up to 6 children. The max amount you can spend on toys/gifts per child is $4.
Guideline 2: The maximum amount one family can spend altogether on toys/gifts is $24.
Guideline 3: Winterwear items are free and limited so they do go fast.
Example: You have 1 child. You could buy two $1 items and a $2 item, so that's your limit for 1 child. OR, you could buy 1 $4 item and that’s your limit for one child. Even if you have more than 6 children, you can only spend a maximum of $24 at this event (keep in mind the first guideline however). These guidelines exist due to limitations in quantity. Please understand that there are no exceptions.
In order to help ensure we have enough items for all invited, you are limited to shopping to shopping for the kids included when signing up.
Sound confusing? That’s why you will have a personal shopper to help guide you!

WHERE DO I GO TO SHOP?
When you arrive, you must line up at the decorated door on the south-east side of the building to receive a number (we do have a handicap accessible entrance, but please line up at this door regardless of your ability). No exceptions. This number is your place in line based on the time you arrive. This number will also give you a time to return to shop, you will not be able to shop before the time listed on your number. After getting your number, you may wait outside, in your car or wherever else you choose.
