Director of Beyond School Erin is a Certified Reading Specialist with a Master's Degree in reading. She and her husband, Michael, have two kids, Yuri and Kye. She enjoys running, kettlebell and bowling.
Beyond School Coordinator-St. Louis College Prep Rebekah is a native St. Louisian with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts from Hannibal LaGrange University. She enjoys traveling and the outdoors, but knows there is nothing better than cuddling with her fur-baby, Suki, while binge watching Netflix and eating take out Chinese food.
Beyond School Manager- SLLIS Papin Gabrielle has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from Washington University in St. Louis. She enjoys road trips, wandering through art museums, reading, public transit and spending time with her sisters.
Beyond School Volunteer Coordinator Kayla received her bachelor's degree in educational studies from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and plans to work for M:STL until retirement. Her favorite things: Jesus, Mr. Kitty, New Girl, and giant spring rolls from Lona's.
Lesley has a Bachelor's of Elementary Education from SIU-Carbondale and a Master's of Education from Union University. Lesley is a former teacher from Chicago by way of Memphis. She’s a mother of four, and loves traveling. She’s looking forward to being a Success Coach!
Danielle is a recent graduate of Western Kentucky University where she studied Chemistry. At Beyond School, she wants to use her background to encourage students to have a positive attitude towards education and life. Following, she hopes to be a Peace Corp volunteer to reach more children and communities. Outside of serving others, Danielle loves to make music and perform.
StarR earned an Educational Studies Bachelor's degree from Harris-Stowe State University. Outside her passion for young people, she enjoys singing, dance, songwriting, mentoring and being creatively expressive.
Peter graduated from Drury University with a Bachelor of Science, English and his TESOL/ ESL/ TEFL Certification. Peter recently taught ESL in Costa Rica and has returned to the United States to further his career in education while being closer to his friends and family. He is excited to serve and teach in St. Louis which, he will always consider home.
Marquise has a Bachelor’s in English Literature + Cultural Studies from Kalamazoo College and a Master’s in Educational Leadership + Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Marquise loves comics, mythology + oral storytelling traditions. He plans to pursue a PhD in English with the intent of exploring how storytelling cultures of marginalized communities can be utilized for empowering underserved students. He also enjoys hiking, rock climbing, parkour + weightlifting.
Kekua graduated from Missouri Baptist University here in St. Louis, MO. She majored in Mathematics and Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Secondary Education and hopes to engage in the urban school districts. Her favorite things include hanging out with friends, swinging in her hammock, playing card games, and having big adventures.
Jaylynn is currently transferring to Central Christian College of the Bible and is studying Cross Cultural Ministry. She enjoys every outdoor activity including swimming and biking. She also enjoys dancing and hanging out with her friends and family.
Morgan has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Morgan is taking this year to apply to schools for her PhD and eventually wants to teach full time at a University. She enjoys being active in church, hiking, board games and learning.
Startrice has her Associate’s from St. Louis Community College and is currently working on her Bachelor’s at UMSL. Startrice loves to laugh and make others laugh as well as enjoying time to herself to chill.
Tori is currently attending Harris-Stowe + is majoring in Criminal Justice. Tori is currently a junior at Harris-Stowe State University. She enjoys playing sports + hanging out with friends. Her favorite things include: Jesus, Basketball, This is Us + buying shoes all the time.
Kenya is a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration. She plans on using her upbringing and love for Jesus to provide hope and change to urban communities. In her free time, Kenya enjoys singing, dancing and free-style rapping.
Megan is a first year student at Saint Louis University currently studying Public Health with an emphasis in public policy. Outside of serving, her favorite things include exploring St. Louis with her friends, listening to and making music, and hiking with her dog.
