SLATE Out-Of-School Youth Program (314) 657-3624
Program provides educational, job training, and employment services to youth, ages 16 to 24, who are St. Lous City residents and who are out-of-school or have dropped out of school
Program offers GED assistance, tutoring, post-secondary advising, career exploration and guidance, job shadowing, job placement, and additional supportive services

Serves young adults aged 17-24 who meet income eligibility requirements

Free tech education and job readiness training; online application required to be admitted into course
Coding classes available for all skill levels; apprenticeships available for students who succeed in coursework
Must be able to commit to roughly 20 hours of course work per week including 2 3-hour virtual classes a week and additional readings and assignments
